I am not a big fan of scrapbooking as I would rather make a card then to scrapbook. However I went to Scrap Dat Productions (www.scrapdatproduction.com) crop called Oh Snap at Pelican Park on March 12th thru 14th. I met lots of great people and had loads of fun. I took a class at GiGi’s from Alabama where we learned a bit about texture and how to distress paper and texture. It was so much fun walking around and seeing all of the creativity going on all around you. I learned what flip flaps are and I learned about ways to store all those embellishments that you just don’t know what to do with but you can not seem to part with them. I will go over some of the storage solutions on another post as there are lots of ideas out there.
I decided not to do the Demonstrator for this Crop since I wanted to partake in all of the fun. I enjoyed it so much more.
Here are some of the items that I scrapped this weekend for my grandson who will be turning 1 in 2 weeks. I just can not believe it!
That is all I have for now, I will be posting the rest in a few days if I get them done. I am on a time crunch with these though. I have to be done before we head up for his birthday. I am one excited Mamie.
Don’t forget for every comment you make during the next quarter I will be giving away some “Blog Candy.” So Starting April 1st through June 30th for every comment you post you will be entered into the drawing for the “Blog Candy” winner will be announced the first post after the last post of that quarter. Happy commenting.
Please leave me comments to let me know what you think. I love your feed back especially on scrapbooking it is not my best or favorite project. If you are looking for some thing from this project like the Zoobabies or the Banner punch check out my store. Also don’t forget to check the Weekly Deals they change every Tuesday.
