I decided to do a Stamparatus Class for my ladies that purchased one. We had 6 in total. This is one of the card fronts we made. The Dragonfly Dreams stamp set is perfect for a demonstration of the wonderful uses of the stamparatus. It has two stepped images on polymer stamps which were what I seemed to be having trouble getting to work correctly. It seemed I could never get a good image on the hinge side of the stamped image. I went searching for information on YouTube and found Mary Fish. She has a perfect solution to this problem. Check her video here. After watching and playing with my magnet cards from Stamp and Storage it worked. But since most people may not want to have to buy something else that they may not have, my husband and I found that one of the Big Shot Embossing Mats works just as good. Of course, it is not the same size as the Stamparatus but it should work for most cards. We used the Gray mat and it worked perfectly when using the polymer stamps such as the Dragonfly Dreams. Here is our card.
When I made this card I simply stamped all the images using the Stamparatus once with stamps placed where I wanted except for the dots on the bottom and the color inside of the dragonfly and bumblebee. The color for the inside of the dragonfly and bumblebee were put on the other stamparatus pad (top) and then inked up and stamped. I flipped it over placing the dots on the bottom inked it up and started from the original position stamping the dots then inking up again and moving the hinged piece two hinges over. This stamped the rest of the dots on the bottom to be completely across the bottom of the card.
For this card you will need:
I used CTMH Rose embossing folder on this card for some dimension.
