Snow is Glistening is a wonderful stamp set that I have had so much fun creating with. I mean I LOVE SNOW!! Unfortunately, like the snow, the suit Snowflake showcase will not last. If you want to get your hands on this set you must order before November 30, 2018. The suit includes several different stamp sets, die cuts, velvet paper, and snowflake trinkets. Check them out below.
These will be available while supplies last, and just like that the White Velvet Sheets have sold out. So if there is anything you want I suggest you order ASAP.
Let me show you a few more cards I have done with these sets.
Here are the instructions for the landscaped card in Blushing Bride.
- Card base Blushing Bride cut at 5 ½ x 8 ½ scored at 4 ¼.
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 4 x 5 ¼.
- Place your Whisper White piece on the Stamparatus and place the falling snow stamp in the center of your cardstock vertically.
- Ink up your stamp and stamp. Continuing across the paper with the hinged method on the stamparatus.
- Take the stamp and flip it upside down so that the snow is going in the opposite direction as it was to your precious stamped image. Then do step 4 again all the way across.
- Stamp your sentiment at the bottom.
- Cut out of whisper white your snowflakes two white and one pink.
- Layer the snowflakes where you would like them to glue them down and you are done.
Below is two samples one made with Glimmer paper for the white in the snowflake
Here are the instructions for the portrait card with Balmy Blue ink.
- Card base cut at 8 ½ x 5 ½ inches scored at 4 ¼.
- Whisper white thick cardstock or Shimmer paper third layer 5 ½ x 4 inches.
- Take a bit of Gray Granite ink in the top of the lid of your ink pad and use your aqua painter to just grab a bit and place it on the background lightly. Enough to give it a washed look.
- Cut your snow flourish and snowflakes out in Whisper White and in Balmy Blue.
- Layer those around your watercolor washed cardstock once it is dry. The flourish was cut in two to make it stick out more. Layer it behind the snowflakes.
- Stamp your sentiment in Gray Granite on a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring about ¾ x 4 ½ inches
- Dovetail your banner with scissors.
- Place the sentiment on top with dimentionals
- Add your sequins and that is it.
These are the pictures of the two cards I did for this one.
