The Catch a Snowflake suite is going to sell out fast. I have no words about how gorgeous it is. I know most of you know I like snow. I think it is beautiful, breathtaking, and it calms my soul. This bundle will be one of my all-time favorite bundles. Well then for Christmas there is the Spirited Snowmen so there is that, but hey it goes with the Snowflakes. hehe. I have some of what I worked on at a crop a few weeks ago for you to take a look at to get you revved up for this bundle.
Check out the few cards I did using the Snow is Glistening stamp set and the dies.
This one is simple. You have a stamp that looks like falling snow. So I put it on my paper where I wanted it and allowed the Stamparatus to do the rest. I used the hinged technique for this to go across the cardstock. I then flipped the stamp around about an inch down and repeated across the cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in the second generation stamping using Bermuda Bay and then again just a touch off giving it a shadowed appearance. The flourish with snowflakes was cut out with Sparkle Glimmer paper. I dressed it up with some rhinestones.
This particular card is super simple. I embossed a single snowflake with a retired embossing folder. You could, however, use the new mats to emboss the snowflake die itself. After I embossed it I added snowflakes in various sizes cut from several different colors of vellum. I layered them with the top one that was cut from Sparkle Glimmer paper. I added some glue around the edges and on the embossed snowflake and sprinkled with dazzling diamonds.
I love these card and will be sharing some of them with the kids for Cards for little hearts. I do hope you like them.
Below is a list of items used for both cards. The bottom one with the vellum has several different vellum colors which are not all Stampin’ Up! papers.
Just remember they are for a limited time only. You can only get them in the month of NOVEMBER. So order early, once they sell out they are gone. Hostess code is 7DXNRQE4
