I am in love with the Stitched all around dies and the Free as a Bird stamp set. So I thought why not? I actually had been practacing coloring the adorable little birds from this set with the Stampin’ Blends markers. When I decided to cut them out using the Stitched all around dies instead of the nesting dies that come in the bundle with these cuties. Then it was like well then what next? So I played around checking out things on pintrest to see different ways that people were using the dies. I did not see anything that I really wanted to case so I just sort of played with what I had and came up with this little Hello card.
- The base is Daffodil Delight card stock cut 5 1/2 x 11 scored at 4 1/4.
- Top layer piece is 4 x 5 1/4 of Sahara Sand stamped with the Birch background stamp ink color is Crumb Cake.
- The larger of the Stitched all around dies are
- cut twice once in Calypso Coral and again Whisper White after stamping the birds in Momento black ink. I did color the birds first before cutting this out.
- I stamped and colored leaves and flowers from the Free as a Bird set and fussy cut them out. I listed the colors that I used in the supply list for you.
- I placed the organdy striped ribbon around the Sahara Sand cardstock before placing it on the card base.
- I layered all of the stitched dies that were cut around each other and added the leaves in between these layers.
- The flowers were placed on top with dimentionals.
- The sentiment is cut out of calypso coral and whisper white and stamped with Crumb Cake ink.
I am simply in love with these little guys. I am sure I am going to come up with a way to use them for Christmas cards this year. I do hope you love them as much as me.
