These Stitched Be Mine are the last of the Heart-Themed cards I am sending out to #cardsforlittleheartscarddrive. I did do a lot more. I sent over 40 cards. I did these with the Stitched Be Mine Dies and the Buffalo Check stamp set. To get the real plaid look I used a ruler and the matching Stampin’ Write Marker to make lines in the white spaces of the Buffalo Check pattern. I used Flirty Flamingo in the Lovely Lipstick card since I did not have that color. It makes for a wonderful patterned paper and a great background. I hope they never retire this stamp.
I am in love with Stitched Be Mine set it is one of my favorite heart bundles Stampin’ Up has, it closely rivals Sealed with Love bundle a few years back.
The Cards
Cards are very simple to do
- Base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
- Whisper White cardstock cut 4 x 5 1/4 stamped in color choice, then take a ruler and Stampin write marker of choice and do lines in the white squares all the way across the card in both directions (verticle and Horizontal)
- The top is DSP cut hearts from the Stitched Be Mine dies and one cut from coordination cardstock and one lace heart atop the coordinating cardstock.
- I popped up the center heart and used a bit of Linen thread for a bow.
