Stitched Lace Die meets Country Floral; these two sets combine to create a beautiful card that is just clean and simple, making it simply stunning. You can do this in any color. The starter one that I did was entirely in Mint Macaroon. I cut a piece of Mint Macaroon and ran it through the bigshot with the Stitched Lace dies. Then took another piece and embossed it through the big shot with the Country Embossing folder, attaching them to another piece side by side and put a ribbon from the Gather Together suite that is crumb cake. It is so simple and elegant.
I was not too thrilled with this one. I made it before I actually got the A Little Lace bundle. One of my fellow demonstrators cut a piece of the lace for me in Mint Macaroon. Once I got the Stitched dies I found the trimming piece to be wonderful addition to make some beautiful cards. Take a look.
The Card
The Die
I did several variations of color with the Stitched Lace die to check out the beauty in all the different colors
Here is an up-close of the die cut out in Blueberry Bushel. Don’t you just love all the stitched details in this die?
I am in love with the set. The die is my favorite part of the set of course. The possibilities are endless for me. I loved lace as a little girl and wanted it everywhere in my life. My mother even has lace curtains in her house that I dearly love but my spouse draws the lines with that. I have a few extra that I did you can see below.
Ribbon
The Organdy Ribbon you can curl by simply heating the ends of the ribbon to make it curl with a heat gun.
I have no sentiment on these cards because I just have no idea what to do with them. I decided they could be anything thank you, birthday, think of you, and get-well cards.
If you did not catch my blog on how to do the color on color with the embossing folder check it out here.
I will give you the supplies for the Petal Pink and the Pretty Peacock colored cards. You can change the colors to any color of your choice. I did find doing two different colors made the lace stand out more than the monochrome card.
