This one is probably my favorite card made to date with the Sweet Little Stockings suite. It uses almost everything in the suite. I love that I got to add lots of color to it and found a way to include lots of the scraps of color from that beautiful designer series paper.
The little stockings are from the designer series paper Sweet Stockings; I just fussy cut them out; if you have the dies, you can cut them out with those.
The tree is from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set, and I fussy cut this out as well. My kitty and my presents were cut with my Brother Scan and Cut machine. It is wonderful for this. I stamp as many as I want and cut them all at the same time. I sometimes color them, but usually, I do not color till I have in mind what I want to do.
I wanted to add texture to the back like it was on a mantel from a fireplace, so I used the brick and mortar embossing folder.
I am very please with it, of course, I can see some changes I would like to make to it…maybe I will.
