The Tags and Tidings Stamp set is a pretty versatile set. I did a post a while back about making tags with this card. (click here for that blog) Now I am going to show you how you can make a festive card with it. I was a bit skeptical about this particular set since I do not usually do such glamorous packages when I wrap. Time just doesn’t always allow for that. I saw a particular card from Cathy Pinchbeck and I loved her card. (You can see it here)
Here is my card. I used different colors for the holiday season. I also had tons of the Glimmer Cardstock to use up. So I decided to add this beauty to our Cards Stack last month.
Here is the simple instruction on how to create this.
- Cardstock in Cherry Cobbler base cut at 5 ½ x 8 ½ scored at 4 ¼. Folded in half.
- Glimmer Paper from the Joyous Noel Glimmer pack cut to 4 x 5 ½.
- Stamp the Tags and Tidings stamp with the Stamparatus onto Whisper White Cardstock measuring 4 ¼ x 5 ½.
- Take that piece to color your tags any way you want. I colored mine with Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Watercolor pencils. (these are retired)
- Take the colored tags and run them through the Big Shot.
- You can do the next step two ways.
- You can use the die and cut the glimmer paper as well so you know where tags go. Or
- You can use the left-over bits of the Whisper White cardstock to place them on top of the glimmer paper. I did this method by not taking the tags out complexly form the die. Putting glue on the backs of the tags only and then placing the whole thing on the glimmer paper.
- Once you have tags on you can take a piece of ribbon and tie a bow and wrap around Glimmer Paper.
- Then adhere your glimmer paper to the card base. That’s it your done.
Here is the supply list
We had this one at the Stamp a Stack last month. Quick and easy and fabulous. Love it when it works out that way.
Happy Craftin,
Amy
