Hello, my crafty friends! I am not much for buying dies that make cute little boxes. I only have The Bakers box thinlits and the Mini Treat Bag thinlits. I have used the curvy keepsake box dies. I love those but I did not buy them. I can not see that I would have had much use for them. I did, however, purchase this one, I can see several uses for it. I like to give small gifts and this one I can use for a guy as well as girls. It has several different dies to make it a wonderful box for a birthday, every day and a bit of a romantic side with hearts. Check out the set below.

I just love this color combination. It is Pool Party and Real Red. I had some Glimmer paper left over so I went ahead and used it instead of the regular paper. I like it! I am not happy about how the Glimmer Embossing powder worked here. It seems to have missed adhering to the versamark. I have some at home (I borrowed some here) that I put some extra retired red embossing powder in and it seem to work much much better.

Here is a sneak peak on what I am working on for another class. I actually saw this first on one of the HGTV Tiny house shows. I had my hubby go back and forth till I could see the heart. This one is a sample of what I saw on the show and fell in love with. It has a heart and well we all know how I feel about hearts.
I love this. I am trying to duplicate this with my own techniques. The first one I did you will see below I did with just one-dimensional stamping. I love it but I can do so much better. I am still working on the artistic side of things and once I get it down I will place it on my class schedule.
