In my post today, I will show you how I was pleasantly surprised to get a second card out of this embossed image after it was watercolored.
My first card was created on some watercolor paper and colored after it was embossed. As you know, embossed images soften after they get wet and are colored. So once this was dry, I lightly spritzed it again and embossed it for the last time to recreate the impression. I then let it dry till I was ready to complete the card.
When I ran it the second time, it “stained” my embossing folder. So a lightbulb went off in my head, and I thought, why not run some white cardstock through there and see what happens.
Drum roll, please…
Boom… Mic drop! I was stunned and super pleased at the outcome. Check out the detail there. Amazing.
Who would have thought I would get a twofer?
Hopefully, this inspires you to get out there and create something beautiful today.
