Winter Woods

This Winter Woods set blends perfectly with the Dashing Deer as well as the Rooted in Nature stamp set that came out in the new Annual Catalog in July. This one makes for a beautiful winter woods scene. The picture this time makes it so beautiful.

balmy blue and gray granite colors — Combination of Dashing Deer and Winter Woods

I choose gray’s and blues for a winter woods scene. I used sponge daubers on the trees that I cut out and placed in front of the stamped trees from the Winter Woods set. I also used the daubers to sponge a little color on the embossed whisper white cardstock. I stamped the deer from the Dashing Deer set with the Gray Granite ink and cut them out with the dies. These were popped up with dimentionals.

To get the trees from the Winter Woods set in the background to look multicolored I stamped with the Stamparatus with the Balmy Blue and then again with the Gray Granite just a smidge to the left. This gives it multiple layers.

Layering the sentiment with the Balmy Blue makes it stand out perfectly.
