My brother and his wife had an Anniversary back in November. I don’t usually send Anniversary cards to my family but I thought they would enjoy it. So I created this wood grain embossed Anniversary card for them. It is very simple to do and could be changed up in many ways to make it just your style.
I started with Embossing with the wood grain embossing folder after I embossed the 5 1/4 x 4 cardstock I ran Early Espresso ink across it with a sponge to make the texture show even more. After that I punched a heart in the center using the large heart punch (now retired the sweetheart punch would work nicely here as well). I then used the early espresso ink to put there initals on the card and added a small heart in the center punched out with the smallest heart punch. I added the tempting turquoise twine around the bottom with a vintage button. I then adhered the wood grain piece on top with dimentionals.
For this card you will need the following
Cardstock/Inks
- Very Vanilla Cardstock
- Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Ink pad
- Tempting Turquoise Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad
- Tempting Turquoise Cardstock
Tools/Accessories
- Tempting Turquoise Twine
- Vintage Buttons
- Wood Grain Embossing folder
- Sponge
- Trimmer
- Adhesive
- Alphabet stamps (CTMH)
- Heart Punch (retired)
