I am so excited!
My oldest niece is having a baby boy late March. I had the pleasure of making these Zoo Babies invitations for her baby shower later this month. She loves neutral colors with a splash of color. She also likes the chevron pattern. So I came up with these invitations with her in mind.
I cannot believe she is having a baby. I was there when she was born, and I was one of the few people that could get her to stop crying when no one else could. She was very protective over me when I was sick before my transplant; reminding me of all the things I was not supposed to do till I got my new heart. When I got my new heart she had her 4th birthday and had her daddy video the party so I could watch from the hospital. When I got to come home she was so excited that we could ride bikes together. I love that girl and I am extremely happy for her and her husband as they enter into this new adventure together.
Here is the invitation; blue, gray, and a touch of orange. I just love the way it came out.
I used a few variation with the invites. Some sheer gray and sheer orange ribbon, some on top and some on the bottom of the invitation. Some have a Smoky Slate Scalloped circle behind the elephant and some do not.
If you do not have a bow maker I highly recommend one. My hubby was going to make one for me, but my friend Tonia’s husband beat him to it. There are plenty of video’s on YouTube like this one by Stamping T. Check it out.
