Using an Adhesive tape gun

Using an Adhesive tape gun can be tricky. ALWAYS ALWAYS  go in the same direction every time. This will keep you from ending up with a mess like the picture below. The adhesive is rolling back around the first roller instead of onto your paper. This happens when you change directions of the roller after it has been started. I always roll my back toward me. I have no idea what happened but it got messed up by being rolled in the opposite direction.

I was able to cut the adhesive and pull it off the roller. I put what adhesive was there back on its “tape” so that I could continue to use the rest of the roll. I was happy that it was a quick fix since I had just changed the roll.

Once cut the adhesive and put it back on the “tape” and cut off the “used adhesive” that rolled around the roller this is what I had.
