Social Distancing

I have have done two different versions of my Social Distancing cards. I mean, why should the meercats get all the fun, right? So I used one of my other favorite critters in the world—this Little Piggy.

I do find it hard today to sit and write a blog post. The sun is shining, and I want to be outside, enjoying the breeze as it whips through the trees. I sit here looking out the Crafting Cottage watching the birds on the feeder and watching the flowers from the dogwoods fall with the pollen on the trees. I miss the days of going to the park and hicking. I was so hoping Spring 2020 I would be doing those things with my grandkids. UNFORTUNATELY, that did not happen. We have been pretty productive outside, though. So much so I have neglected my blogging and card making. It’s ok, though. We put a deck up at the Tiny house; we have a community garden started with the kids, of course, keeping the social distancing between us. We cleaned up the front of their home and trimmed trees. I painted under my porch on the Craftin Cottage today, a soft blue to keep the bugs out. We also closed on our property and had a social distancing picnic at the park-like property. We also ordered new bikes for the grandkids and let them ride at the new property. So we have been busy outside. After all of the rain, we had this winter, it is such a relief. My allergies beg to differ, as it makes my mind race every time I sneeze or have a headache. I take my temperature just in case—such frustration.

I did this card with the same colors, but I used the Ornate Border dies and the This Little Piggy Stamp set.

I personally can not decide which one I like better. You all will have to decide. For all comments posted on the website, there will be a drawing for some prizes.
